projects from stanford’s design for healthy behavior (d.health) class supporting habit change and healthy habit formation
During the second year of my MBA at Stanford, I took the d.health class at Stanford d.school, where I undertook three major projects inspired by BJ Fogg’s Tiny Habits. My partner and I were paired with patient-volunteer “Sarah” and worked with her throughout the quarter to design joyful interventions supporting her health goals. As a patient at Stanford Coordinated Care, she lives with multiple chronic conditions that impede her mobility. We explored a variety of ideas of motivate her to reach her daily exercise goals.
During the class, I also challenged myself to two month-long personal health projects introducing new healthy habits to my life: 1) painting for 10 minutes a day, and 2) reading for 10 minutes a day. The following 3 videos document the process and learnings of each project.
