An 8-year passion project that grew to 50,000+ followers and 1.2+ million views.
As Oscar Wilde once said, “You can never be overdressed or overeducated.” As an angsty teenager during the heydays of Tumblr, I joined the platform and created a blog around my budding interest in high fashion, or haute couture. I published daily posts fresh from Paris, New York, London, and Milan Fashion Weeks and grew my fanbase to a global community of 50,000+ followers. In addition, I also connected my fans with personal fashion advice, affilitate fashion vendors, and lifestyle tips.
Looking back, this passion project kickstarted my career as a startup marketer, as I taught myself how to create a brand, build a website, use Google Analytics, edit photos, plan and schedule social media content, and maximize on virality.
